2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on a server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, under a data processing agreement. Each time a page is requested, the server automatically stores your IP address, date and time, the requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest.

3. Booking form and e-mail

If you use the booking form or write an e-mail, I process the details you provide (name, e-mail address, type of shoot, location, date, budget, message) to answer your request and, if applicable, to prepare a quote or contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form data is sent by e-mail to my mailbox at IONOS and a short notification without your message is sent to my own self-hosted notification server in Germany. Only if e-mail delivery fails, the request is stored temporarily on the web server so it doesn't get lost. A hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address is kept for one hour to prevent spam. Requests are deleted once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention periods (e.g. for invoices) apply.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. Your light/dark mode choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never transmitted.

5. External links

Links to social networks (Instagram, LinkedIn) and other websites are plain links. No data is sent to these services until you click them; after that, their own privacy policies apply. Some gear links in the "Shot on" panel may be affiliate links; they are marked with an asterisk (*). Clicking them may let the shop set its own cookies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and you can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. An e-mail to contact@lionstark.com is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
